What are the prospects for graduates of the GEOGRAPHY STUDY PROGRAM?
Until January 2021, the GEOGRAPHY STUDY PROGRAM has produced alumni who are scattered in various kinds or variety of jobs. The results of the data collection show that 40% work in the government sector, 45% in the private sector, 15% are entrepreneurs. In addition to working in their field, geography graduates can also continue their education to the S2/S3 level in various disciplines. Geography graduates are famous for graduates who have good academic abilities and adaptations to study in various disciplines of Masters/S3.

Our Geography department has taught me and students through classroom learning methods and field practice. In the first semester of this department, a basic theory of geography was taught which would lead me to understand my concepts and views on geography. For me this is very important where geography has a strong connection with other sciences so that I can still find the characteristics of the study of geography. There are many courses that need to be completed at this unique campus. Most of the courses teach 3 (three) methods at once, namely theory in class, practice in the laboratory and practice in the field. This method has trained physical, as well as thinking skills. It is very important for me in my current world of work to be responsive and alert in all things. Geography courses have good quality so that they can create quality alumni who can compete in the world of work. In addition, by studying the subject in Geography, alumni will be trained to become entrepreneurs in the business world.
